2007 Lincoln Navigator Dipstick Tube Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair the Engine Oil Dipstick Tube on 2007 Lincoln Navigator?
A: Service or repair of the engine oil dip stick plus its tube demands the initial step of exhaust manifold removal from the LH side. As the next step remove the oil level indicator and tube bolt while tightening it to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) when reinstalling it. Drain the cylinder block of its oil level indicator and tube before disposing of the O-ring seal which comes with the parts. Fitting the new oil level indicator tube requires a step of lubricating the O-ring seal with clean engine oil. The installation finishes when you follow the reverse order while correctly installing the new O-ring seal.
