How to remove and replace the rear shock absorber and spring assembly on 2007 Mercury Mountaineer?

In order to install the rear shock absorber and spring assembly, take out the lower arm and the three upper mount nuts. Install the new assembly, screw the upper mount nuts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs. ) tight. Follow prescribed steps and make sure all torque values are achieved in order to prevent expensive failures. Use only the same part number.
