The service technician must loosen the muffler and tailpipe Torca® clamp and extension pipe-to-catalytic converter Torca® clamp while using new fasteners with matching original part numbers during reinstallation and torqueing to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft). The electrical connection that powers the catalyst monitor should be detached.
