To begin service on the A/C accumulator, start by disconnecting the condenser outlet fitting by taking out its fitting nut along with discarding its O-ring seal and gasket seal before tightening it to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) when reattaching. Detach the electrical connector of the dual-function pressure switch before disconnecting the A/C accumulator outlet fitting by removing the fitting nut and following installation by tightening both components to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). Detach the evaporator outlet line from the A/C accumulator bracket clip before removing its two A/C accumulator nuts while tightening them to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) for installation. The removal order should be reversed when reinstalling the A/C accumulator unit as new gasket and O-ring seals must be placed correctly and the refrigerant system needs clean PAG oil together with the correct amount. Follow the process of evacuation then perform a leak test before completing system charging.
