    A: Begin servicing or repairing the brake caliper by taking off the wheel together with the tire. You should handle the brake pad anti-rattle spring with care until removal when you apply only hand force rather than using tools to safeguard against damages. The lower part of the left-hand (LH) brake caliper anti-rattle spring can be released through a center force pull that extends outward and allows the spring to rotate upward for removal. The service procedure for the RH brake caliper includes freeing its anti-rattle spring through a two-step process of pulling outward while rotating downward. The meter needs a brake flexible hose loosening step but the caliper must remain unsupported from the hose while performing this step to avoid damage. You must take out the two guide pin bushing caps and two brake caliper guide pin bolts before setting the caliper aside with mechanic's wire. Start the line of work by removing the brake flexible hose then the brake caliper before taking out the two brake pads from inside the caliper. Install brake pads onto the caliper before you place the caliper onto the anchor plate for alignment.
