The first step to maintain the 2.3L radiator requires placing the vehicle in NEUTRAL while hanging it from a hoist. Begin by taking out the cooling fan motor combined with shroud followed by splitting the upper radiator hose and then disconnecting the lower degas bottle-to-radiator hose and lower radiator hose from the radiator. After disconnection of the two adjusting bolts between the A/C condenser and radiator you should store the A/C condenser to the side. Always tighten radiator bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) during reinstallation procedure. To finish proceed with replacing the radiator through steps that reverse the removal operations.
