Service of the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor begins by placing the vehicle in NEUTRAL position and hanging it on a hoist. Unplug the electrical connector of the CKP sensor then remove its two securing bolts. To install the new sensor users must fasten its bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) torque setting before reversing the removal steps to finish installation.
