Use the combination of pull and twist motions to detach ignition coil wires from the coil. The service begins with removal of the ignition coil electrical connector followed by the heater hose retainer should be detached from the stud bolt followed by both bolt removal and stud bolt removal and finally ignition coil removal. Assembling requires using a small clean tool to apply silicone brake caliper grease to every interior part of the boot surface before tightening the bolts to 6 Nm (53 lb-in). Reverse the removal steps.
