How to service the A/C Hose from the compressor to the condenser on 2008 Lincoln Mark LT?

Recovery of refrigerant stands as the first step when servicing the compressor to condenser discharge line. The wire harness must be detached from the discharge line followed by removal of the A/C compressor discharge fitting nut and disconnecting the fitting while discarding both parts including O-ring seal and gasket seal. The fitting needs to be tightened at 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) during reinstallation. The procedure requires removal of both the A/C pressure transducer electrical connector and the condenser inlet fitting where you must discard the existing O-ring seal. During reinstallation secure the inlet fitting by applying torque force to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Compressors need new gasket and O-ring seals when reinstalling the discharge line to the condenser by following backwards the removal steps. The correct amount of clean PAG oil needs to be applied during lubrication before refrigerant system evacuation and leak testing and refrigerant charging.
