You must begin by disconnecting the electrical connector from the EVAP canister purge valve and afterwards detach the quick connect coupling of the intake manifold from the EVAP canister purge valve vapor tube before finally disconnecting the quick connect coupling of the EVAP canister from the canister purge valve vapor tube. You should pull the release tab of the EVAP canister purge valve followed by removing it from the bracket. The installation requires reversing the removal sequence. A system leak test followed by execution of the evaporative emissions repair verification drive cycle should be performed to verify correct system operation after installation.
