Start by draining the engine cooling system and remove the upper air deflector through removing both the 12 pushpin retainers and the deflector unit. Service technicians should disconnect the outlet pipe of the air cleaner (ACL) by removing its nut and electrical cables that require tightening to 10 Nm or 89 lb-in before reinstallation. Afterward they should remove the wiring harness retainer. First, disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator and the position retainer of the cooling fan shroud.
