Begin by compressing the clamp until the return hose disengages and compressing it one more time for the power steering pump supply hose disconnection. A technician must remove the three bolts from the power steering reservoir with 2.3L engines and the two bolts from the reservoir with 4.0L engines. Refit reservoir bolts with a torque of 14 Nm (124 lb-in) during installation of the engine type irrespective of size.
