How to service and repair the turn signal switch on 2009 Ford Ranger?

The turn signal switch can be serviced by inserting the ignition switch lock cylinder by inserting the key as far as the RUN position and pushing the release tab. Unfit the screws of steering column shroud, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the multifunction switch. Install new switch and reverse the de-installation process.
