How to service and repair the front auxiliary evaporator outlet and inlet A/C hose on 2009 Mercury Mountaineer?

Refrigerant recovery must proceed before starting to fix the front auxiliary evaporator outlet and inlet line. The front fitting on the auxiliary evaporator inlet line needs disconnecting while discarding the O-ring seal pieces. You must first disconnect the front fitting of the auxiliary evaporator outlet line by taking off the right-hand running board. Remove the right-hand rear wheel before you detach the front auxiliary evaporator line fitting nuts and disconnect the fittings by following the removal of the O-ring seals. Use 8 Nm (71 lb-in) as the torque setting when you reinstall the fittings. Follow the removal procedure for three auxiliary line bracket nuts by tightening them at 6 Nm (53 lb-in) before removing and tightening the three auxiliary line bracket bolts at 6 Nm (53 lb-in) during reassembly. Take out the front auxiliary evaporator outlet and inlet lines after deleting the six auxiliary line brackets.
