The first step to work on the blower motor switch involves removing the ground battery cable. Begin the service by taking out the control assembly and center trim panel through unscrewing. Start by removing the knob of the A/C-heater function selector switch together with disconnecting the vacuum harness and electrical connectors. Unplug the A/C-heater function selector switch connector before unscrewing the switch from its place. First unscrew then remove the temperature control switch knob followed by disconnecting its connector until removing it by unscrewing the switch. First disconnect the heater blower motor switch knob followed by removing its connector. The part number 18578 heater blower motor switch needs to be unwired before you unscrew it from its current position. Remove the heater blower motor switch resistor (part number 18591) by unscrewing it after disconnecting its resistor connector. Rejunite all components through reversing the steps of removal.
