How to Service and Repair the A/C Switch on Ford E-150 Econoline?

You should start the repair process of the air conditioning switch by taking out the battery ground cable. The initial service requires removal of center trim panel and control assembly by unscrewing their required screws. Disassemble the A/C-heater function selector switch operation by first turning the knob and disconnecting its vacuum harness connector and A/C-heater function selector switch connector before removing the switch through unscrewing. Start by taking off the temperature control switch knob followed by connector disconnect and the switch needs to be unscrewing for removal. Begin by removing the heater blower motor switch knob before disconnecting its connector and removing the heater blower motor switch through unscrewing. The reverse steps used during removal will be applied during installation.
