The technicians need to detach the Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA) solenoid connector and uninstall the four nuts holding the steering column to the cross car beam before lowering it down. Before putting back the BSIA solenoid make sure all the bolts reach a torque value of 9 Nm (80 lb-in) and use a torque wrench on the steering column nuts with 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
