For accessing the belt you must rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner in the counterclockwise direction. First release the clamp before removing the power steering fluid suction hose from the pump when disconnecting the power steering pressure line fitting nut from the pump. Reinstallation should include tightening the fitting nut to 73 Nm (54 ft. lbs.). Install the power steering pump by using three bolts that need to be tightened up to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs). During pump removal handle the flow control valve properly to avoid it from dropping out. The installation process ends by performing the reverse steps of removal while filling the power steering system with fluid.
