You must begin blower motor servicing and repair by taking out the passenger side insulator panel. Cautiously remove the aftermarket air filter together with its mounting bracket from the cover during maintenance. The first step requires separating the christmas tree retainer both from the motor mounting plate as well as the connector. Start by removing the blower motor cover when you detach its three screws and push on each of the three tabs until release. The removal of the cover makes it possible to access the blower motor through a sequence of three screw removal and motor extraction steps keeping the wheel from any potential damage. The first step after motor removal is to detach the wheel by first removing the push clip followed by taking out the wheel itself. Finally, remove the gasket.
