How Is the Auxiliary Evaporator Core Serviced and Repaired on Ford Expedition?

The core of the auxiliary evaporator is serviced in conjunction with the heater core and housing of Expedition EL and Navigator L, and separately of Expedition and Navigator. Vacuum leak test is necessary in case of a leakage. Re-receiver/drier when contaminated. Use a particular procedure of removal and installation of each type of vehicles.

How to service the auxiliary evaporator core on Ford Expedition?

Service auxiliary evaporator core, give vaccine test (if necessary). Only contaminated receiver/drier should be replaced. Take out climate control housing, unhook the TXV fittings and get rid of O-rings. Install the TXV again at 15 Nm and knock the access cover off and reverse, with new O-rings.
