How to Service and Repair the A/C Switch in the EATC Climate Control Assembly on Ford Expedition?

Starting the repair of the climate control assembly (EATC) in Navigator and Expedition vehicles requires the first step to be disconnecting the negative battery cable. You should first separate the switch housing from its position after detaching it while you disconnect the electrical connector from the shift lever cover. You must first unscrew the screws from the center console trim panel then break its four clips loose. The technician should disconnect all electrical connectors and remove the center instrument panel finish panel screws which allows full access to the audio unit cover by releasing its four clips and its electrical connectors. During the Expedition installation process apply the parking brake while setting the gear selector to (1) position before repeating the negative battery cable disconnection followed by removal of screws from the instrument cluster finish panel and its electrical connectors. The installation process ends with reversing the removal procedure after unscrewing the climate control assembly.
