How to service and repair the steering column cover on Ford Expedition?

Service and repair of the steering column cover starts by taking out the upper steering column cover while setting automatic transmissions in position 1 so the removal process can happen more easily. The electrical connector should be placed to the side while you release the push clip that holds the lower instrument panel steering column cover. Drawing the handle allows the removal of the fuse door followed by unsticking the hood latch release handle from the lower instrument panel steering column cover by unthreading screws and disconnecting the handle from the lower steering column cover. After removing screws from the lower instrument panel steering column cover you can disconnect the parking brake release handle from the steering column cover entirely. You should take out the bolts to remove the lower instrument panel steering column cover after removal. Reverse the removal actions to install the system.
