How to service the ignition coil on Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

In order to maintain the ignition coil, it is necessary to disconnect the electrical connection and to twist the spark plug wire boot and pull it upwards. Take out the six spark plug wires and four-bolt connections holding coil. Installation of the new coil should be done by tightening the bolts to 6 Nm and silicone dielectric compound to boots.
