How to service the Cooling Fan Assembly and Fan Clutch on Ford Expedition?

In order to service the cooling fan and clutch, it is required to first unscrew the four bolts that hold the fan in place on the clutch and then unscrew the clutch on the fan. When reassembling, attach the bolts to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs. ), and use the disassembly procedure in reverse.

How to service the fan clutch for the 2.3L engine on Ford Ranger?

To service the fan clutch on the 2.3L engine, start by loosening the mechanical fan nut. Then, take off the fan and clutch assembly. To install the new parts, simply reverse the steps taken during removal.
