How to service the auxiliary evaporator core on Ford Freestar?

To service the auxiliary evaporator core, take out the climate control housing and 6 screws off the housing. Unscrew the inlet and outlet fittings and dispose of O-rings. Remove the core and seal. To install, reverse these instructions, new O-rings and lubrication with clean PAG oil. Change suction accumulator only in case of contamination.

How to service the evaporator core on Ford Freestar?

In order to service the evaporator core, we begin by removing the heater core and its housing. Then remove 11 screws turning the evaporator core cover and remove the core. The installation of the new core of the evaporator requires nothing more than following the same process reversed to install.
