How to service and repair the turn signal switch on Ford Freestyle?

In order to service the turn signal switch, take off the steering wheel, and then the upper shroud by pressing its sides. Take the column cover off with 3 screws and cover, then the lower shroud off with 3 screws. Unscrew one connector, disassemble 4 switch screws and pull out the switch. Installation- undo the steps.
