How to service the knock sensor (KS) on Ford Fusion?

Service of the knock sensor starts by suspending the vehicle with it in NEUTRAL position. The knock sensor requires disconnected electrical connection along with bolt removal to be removed successfully. The reinstallation steps consist of following the reverse order while tightening the bolt to a torque value of 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
