How to Service the MAP Sensor on Ford Ranger?

In order to service the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, begin by loosening the battery ground cable and the electrical connector of the sensor. Unscrew the fixing bolt and take off the sensor in the intake manifold discarding the O-ring cover. To install, the reverse is required with a new O-ring seal.
