How to service the steering column cover on Ford F-150?

The first step to service the steering column cover requires positioning the shift lever of automatic transmissions to position 1 for easier removal. The service begins with removing the upper steering column cover together with disconnecting the bi-fuel tank selector switch so its electrical connector can be placed safely aside. The next step involves releasing the push clip positioned on the lower instrument panel steering column cover which allows you to pull the handle to remove the fuse door. Effortlessly remove the hood latch release handle from the lower instrument panel steering column cover by first unscrewing the device then separating it from the steering column cover. The technician must first disconnect the screws attaching the parking brake release handle before separating it from the lower instrument panel steering column cover. The last step includes removing the lower instrument panel steering column cover by unfastening its bolts. You should follow the opposite steps of removal for installation.
