How to service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on Lincoln Navigator?

Disconnection of battery and air cleaner are done to service the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. Dislodge the MAF sensor and its plate, without interfering with the sensing elements. To install, invert the steps, making sure the grommet is carefully established so as to avoid unmetered air and properly position the sides of the air cleaner.

How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service the mass air flow (MAF) sensor it is first necessary to disconnect the battery ground cable and the electrical connector to the MAF sensor. Next, loosen the screws that hold the sensor, and take the sensor out. Installation of the new sensor would be as easy as the process of removal.
