How can the Occupant Detection Sensor weight sensor be accessed on Lincoln MKS?

Occupant Detection Sensor (ODS) weight sensors are integrated into the passenger seat track assembly, and cannot be serviced independently. You need to take off the passenger seat track in order to reach the sensor.

How to service the Occupant Detection Sensor on the power seat track on Lincoln MKX?

The seat assembly should be handled with care to service the power seat track occupant detection sensor. Note: To test the airbag, remove the RCM fuse. Being careful to note the position of the seat track, remove components, re-place ODS weight sensor bolt, and re-assemble all parts with appropriate torque requirements. Lastly, restore power to the SRS and make tests.
