How to Service and Repair the Sunroof Air Deflector on Mercury Mountaineer?

Start service and repair of sunroof or moonroof windguards by first extending the roof opening panel to its maximum position. You should take out the four screws from the air deflector and fasten them with a torque of 1 Nm (9 lb-in) for reinstallation. You should first separate the air deflector from its attachment on the roof opening panel frame. The installation process can be finalized by performing the opposite steps of removal while starting the roof opening panel motor if needed.
