Service of the Knock Sensor (KS) begins with intake manifold removal. The start of servicing the Knock Sensor requires separation of its electrical connector followed by removal of its securing nut. The installation requires tightening the new KS to 20 Nm (177 lb-in) before following the reverse order of removal steps to finish installation.
