Before accessing the wheel speed sensor of the rear wheel users must deactivate the fire suppression system if present followed by unscrewing the rear
Seat Cushion. First disconnect the electrical connector from the rear wheel speed sensor before pushing the sensor harness grommet into the opening of the passenger compartment floor. The service of a vehicle with
Air Suspension requires power disconnection before any lift or towing operation to stop unexpected air spring pressure changes which could cause shifting and lead to injuries; vehicles with this system should use the off position on the air suspension service switch. Place the vehicle at neutral and position it onto the hoist for support. Separate the wheel speed sensor harness connectors after which you should unfasten the rear wheel speed sensor bolt and sensor before reinstalling the new sensor with a torque setting of 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.). Before continuing with use you should power up fire suppression systems and adjust the air suspension service switch to on if your vehicle is so equipped.
