How to service the Vehicle Speed Sensor on the Turbine Shaft on Mercury Grand Marquis?

Installation To install the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor, put the car in neutral on the hoist. Unscrew the electrical connector of the TSS sensor, unscrew the sensor bolt, and unscrew the sensor. To install, connect the new sensor using the bolt, and tighten it to 11 Nm (8lb-ft) and reverse the procedure to complete.
