How to service and repair the parking brake shoes on Mercury Mariner?

In order to replace the parking brake shoes, disassemble the upper return spring, pin, and springs, then the rear brake disc. Then remove the bottom return spring and adjuster next then the shoes. Install reverse, with anti-seize lubricant, and verify that it is working properly.
