How to Remove and Install a Brake Disc in a Rear Disc Brake System on Mercury Mariner?

Parking the vehicle at NEUTRAL position on a hoist is the starting point for servicing brake rotor/disc. Start by removing brake pads before completing the removal of brake disc. By removing the plug you can access the adjustment hole to retract the parking brake shoe and lining through adjuster rotation when the brake disc binds on the shoe and lining. Installation starts first with reversing the removal process and making shoe and lining parking brake adjustments if needed.
