In order to maintain the ignition coil-on-plug, two nuts, one bolt and the generator air inlet duct can be removed, but tightened to 6 Nm when removing and tightening again. Unscrew the four electrical connectors, twist to unscrew ignition coil-on-plug, and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm when installing. Use dielectric grease on the boots and then attach.

In order to service the coil-on-plug ignition system, one has to disconnect the battery ground cable, disassemble the components necessary, and disconnect the 4 electrical connectors. Install the coils in a twisting motion and re-install with given torque. Apply dielectric grease in the inside of the boots then attach them to the spark plugs.
