    Q:
How to Service the Fog Light Bulb on Ford Fusion? Posted by Customer
    A:
It is important to start servicing the fog lamp bulb when both the headlamp switch and ignition switch are in their OFF position. Place the vehicle into NEUTRAL position and locate it on a hoist. Detach the electrical connector before removing the fog lamp bulb with special care due to high pressure gas inside the bulb which constitutes a safety risk when handling the base of the bulb. The glass envelope needs to be avoided for contact and the bulb should not remain removed for long periods since contaminants might enter the fog lamp and degrade system performance. The fog lamps must never be activated while any bulb remains missing. The installation process for the new bulb consists of following the steps in reverse order to the removal process.
