The first step for temperature blend door actuator (19E660) service involves removing the integrated control panel along with the right-side lower instrument panel insulator from all vehicles. Lower the glove compartment first then remove any two screws on the remote climate control module of vehicles with EATC systems and set the module aside for the following steps. Detach the temperature blend door linkage shield before disconnection of the electrical connector from the temperature blend door actuator. First secure the actuator with screws then free the actuator by taking it out. The procedure ends by doing the directly opposite of what was necessary for removal.

The service and repair process for the electronic blend door actuator starts with instrument panel insulator removal that requires pushpin removal and courtesy light disconnexion. After disassembling the floor console you should remove its screws to detach the cover. The first step involves disconnecting the connector followed by unscrewing for the removal of the A/C electronic door actuator motor. The installation process should follow the steps that reverse all removal steps.

A proper diagnosis of the temperature blend door actuator requires first stripping away the integrated control panel and then taking off the right-side lower instrument panel insulator and glove box. When servicing vehicles with Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) remove two screws that fasten the remote climate control module then set it to the side. Remove the temperature blend door linkage shield followed by disconnecting the electrical connector of the temperature blend door actuator. The user needs to detach all screws that lock the actuator before removing the actuator piece. Reinstallation of the new actuator should proceed backward from the removal process.

Partially actuate and rotate the floor door vacuum control motor until it can be removed.

Remove the LH quarter trim panel.

It is necessary to slightly reposition the plenum chamber to allow the motor to be rotated sufficiently to clear the retaining arm.

Remove the assist handle bolt covers, followed by the bolts and the passenger assist handle.

Position the aspirator hose away from the actuator.

Remove the panel door vacuum control motor.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Unscrew the two screws securing the defrost door vacuum control motor.

Remove the instrument panel.

Position the vehicle on a hoist with the gear selector in NEUTRAL.

Slightly deflect the retaining arm away from the vacuum control motor arm to create clearance; partially actuate and rotate the motor until it clears the retaining arm.

Reverse the removal steps.

Lower the glove compartment and disconnect the vacuum connector from the floor door vacuum control motor.

Three screws.

Disconnect the vacuum hose from the floor console register duct vacuum control motor.

Disconnect the connector and remove the screws to take out the A/C electronic door actuator motor.

Disconnect the condenser to evaporator tube and the evaporator to accumulator tube spring lock couplings from the A/C evaporator core.

Next, rotate and remove the air inlet door vacuum control motor.

Reverse the steps taken during removal to ensure proper placement of the actuator.

Exercise caution to avoid bending any part of the air inlet duct door lever.

Disconnect the vacuum line from the defrost door vacuum control motor and remove the screws securing it.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature blend door actuator.

Remove the three screws securing the actuator and take out the actuator itself.

It is important not to bend any part of the floor console register duct door lever.

For installation, reverse the steps taken during removal to ensure proper placement of the actuator.

Carefully rotate the vacuum control motor to detach it, ensuring not to bend any part of the vacuum control motor lever.

The heater core and evaporator core housing.

Begin by removing the floor console and the right-side instrument panel insulator.

Reverse the removal procedure to complete the process.

Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the three screws securing the actuator, and then take out the actuator itself.

Reverse the removal procedure to complete the process.

They may be shown removed from the vehicle for clarity.

The steering column opening cover.

Remove the instrument panel bolt from outside the vehicle, loosening them sufficiently to allow movement of the right-hand side of the instrument panel away from the dash panel, but do not completely remove them.

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the screws securing the air distribution blend door actuator.

Carefully lift, rotate, and remove it from the heater air damper duct door lever, ensuring not to bend any part of the lever.

Disconnect the electrical connector of the LH temperature blend door actuator.

Remove the three screws securing the actuator.

Lift, rotate, and remove the panel/floor door vacuum control motor from the door lever.

Position the vehicle on a hoist with the gear selector in NEUTRAL.

Remove the instrument panel by taking out the necessary components related to the body and frame, specifically the interior moulding and trim associated with the dashboard and instrument panel.
