New O-rings treated with refrigerant oil must be used during installation and gaskets should follow the original positioning of the old evaporator. The installer should execute removal procedures in reverse order to set up the new evaporator core by handling it with PAG Compressor Oil YN-12-C or an equivalent product which satisfies Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
