The first step requires removing the engine air cleaner outlet tube while users drain the engine coolant. The service begins with unclamping the upper radiator hose while next removing the hose clamp from the auxiliary coolant flow pump and engine connection hose then disconnecting them. You should then loosen the clamp on the auxiliary coolant flow pump-to-heater hose and tube assembly before disconnecting it. Untap the power connector of the auxiliary coolant flow pump and dismantle it with the two bolts which you should lock down to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) torque before reinstall. To reinstall the auxiliary coolant flow pump follow the removal procedure in reverse order while cleaning and lubricating hoses with plain water during the process if needed. The last step includes filling the engine cooling system.
