Start by obtaining all refrigerant from the condenser to evaporator line to perform servicing. Next, remove the tube clamp. The intercooler tube must be removed along with both clamps when servicing 6.0L diesel engine vehicles. Reinstall the clamps by setting torque to 4 Nm which represents 35 lb-in. Unplug the condenser to evaporator line at the A/C evaporator core after taking out all eight pin-type retainer clips and the sight shield. Remove the line from the A/C condenser core before its removal while tightening the connection to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) for reinstallation. Remove the worn-out O-ring seals from the system before installing new ones together with proper cleaning PAG oil for lubrication of the refrigerant components. Finish the process by evacuating the refrigerant system followed by leak testing and charging it with refrigerant.
