Maintain the speed control actuator assembly off to the side while you disconnect its electrical connector and detach the wire harness and remove three nuts before installation tighten them to 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Remove the two bracket securing nuts on the compressor manifold and tube assembly before installation by tightening them to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Separate the suction accumulator by removing the spring lock coupling from the compressor manifold and tube while getting rid of the O-ring seals. The first step involves removing the front bumper cover followed by taking off the condenser core inlet fitting nut and disconnecting the fitting which requires discarding the O-ring seal before final tightening up to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). The engine block heater should be disconnected with right-hand splash shield removal before disconnecting the A/C compressor electrical connector. The compressor manifold bolt requires tightening to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) when reinstalling. Remove the compressor manifold with tube assembly while throwing away the O-ring seals. The installation completion requires following reverse removal steps with proper installation of new O-ring seals before adding the right amount of clean PAG oil to the refrigerant system. The refrigerant system needs evacuation after which a leak test and recharge process follows.
