How to service and repair the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud on 2009 Ford Escape?

When servicing the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud, place a vehicle on a hoist. Empty the cooling system of the 2.5L vehicles and then take off the bumper cover and sensors on the front. Unscrew wiring harnesses and cooling fan connections and take out fan motor and shroud. Repeat the process and fill up the cooling system.
