How to Properly Disconnect the Release Lever Clutch Cable During Transmission Removal or Clutch Pedal Component Replacement on Ford Mustang?

To disconnect the release lever cable of the clutch during transmission work, remove instrument panel cover, screws, and lift the clutch pedal and unhook the cable. In the case of 4.6L vehicles, loosen the bolt of the bracket. Take the cable off the lever, and the C-clip off. Turn the steps in reverse in order to install the new cable.
