In order to restore the evaporative emission canister purge valve, remove the battery ground cable and be sure that there is no fire around. Lift the engine cover, as required, disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel vapor tube to the valve and take the valve off. Installation of the new valve can be done in reverse order and leak test is done after that.
