One must start service work on the auxiliary unit expansion valve by taking the A/C
Evaporator core out. Tear the capillary bulb away from the outer evaporator outlet tube with great caution for both components. The expansion valve needs both A/C insulating tape and capillary bulb tube clip removal to allow access. Disconnect the refrigerant lines through a wrench application to both fitting sides while safeguarding against damage to the lines. Before placing the new expansion valve where the A/C evaporator expansion valve was removed, install green O-ring seals alongside PAG compressor oil and YN-12c or F7AZ-19589-DA or any product that fulfills Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B. Secure the capillary bulb to the evaporator outlet tube with clips. The A/C insulating tape D4AZ-19627-A requires installation on the bulb and tube according to Ford specification ESA-M99G550-A. Reinstall the A/C evaporator core before evacuating and charging the system while performing the correct operation check.
