How to service and repair the power steering pump on Ford E-250?

The power steering pump servicing requires starting with pulley removal of the power steering pump. You should utilize a proper suction device to take out the power steering fluid from the reservoir. The service begins with removing and discarding the Teflon® seal from the power steering pump supply hose while disconnecting both supply hose and pressure line-to-pump fitting. The pump installation should use a torque of 55 Nm (41 lb-ft). First tighten the power steering pump bolts to 26 Nm (19 lb-ft) then uninstall the pump itself before reinstallation. All installations of new Teflon® seals at the pressure line-to-pump fitting must be performed when the line gets disconnected. The Teflon® Seal Installer Set should be used for this installation procedure. Concerning power steering system completion you should execute the filling procedure.
