How to service the A/C condenser core on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Service of the A/C condenser core begins by recovering refrigerant first. A leak test should precede the removal if there are suspicions of a leak. When reinstalling the A/C condenser fittings use new O-ring seals and gasket seals then fasten them to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). The vehicle maintenance process requires separating the power steering cooler from the hood release cable pin-type retainer. Also detach both power steering cooler bolts which need to be tightened to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft) during reinstallation. Fit the power steering cooler to the side before using a wrench to take out the bolt securing the horn assembly bracket and placing the separated horn assembly where it will need tightening to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft) during reinstallation. Remove first the two condenser bolts before tightening them to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft) for reinstall and then extract the condenser core. Installation of the new condenser requires following the reverse order of removal while adding new gasket and O-ring seals and performing a correct PAG oil lubrication of the refrigeration system. The cooling system requires evacuation followed by a leak test and a charging process.
